Aura Dundalk Swimming Club is a member club of Swim Ireland & was set up by a group of parents and launched on 6th November 2011.  Beginning with only 16 swimmers, the club has expanded and now has 40 members.  The Club is run by parents on a voluntary basis, through a club committee & all of our coaches are volunteer coaches with the exception of our Head Coach Rafal Rutkowski. Rafal holds a Level 2 Swim Ireland Equivalent coaching qualification.

Aura Dundalk Swimming Club aims to provide a safe, positive and encouraging environment in which our swimmers can achieve their full potential and develop personal and social skills in a sporting environment. The club is run in compliance with all Swim Ireland requirements.

We train four times a week :-

Mondays and Thursdays 5pm – 6 or 6.30pm depending on squad,

Saturdays 7.20am-8.20 or 9.20am

depending on squad

and Sundays 4.30pm – 6.30pm

Fees are paid every four weeks & will be notified to new members in advance.

As we are limited to 40 swimmers we run swimming trials usually in September. From these trials we compile a list of swimmers who are of Club standard and as places become available in a given squad, swimmers on the list may be offered a place.

The Club Committee reserves the right to hold additional trials depending on level of interest/places available..
